Vascular Doppler ultrasound is a non-invasive diagnostic technique that uses sound waves to assess blood flow in the arteries and veins. It is the first-line investigation for a wide range of vascular conditions and provides valuable information about blood vessel anatomy and function without radiation or needles.

Causes & Risk Factors

Treatment
Common studies include carotid Doppler, lower limb arterial Doppler, venous Doppler for DVT and varicose vein mapping, and AV fistula surveillance Doppler. This is a diagnostic rather than therapeutic service.
