I was honoured to have been awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS) in Vascular Surgery.

Founded in 1505 under a Royal Charter granted by King James IV of Scotland, the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is the world's oldest surgical college. For over five centuries, it has been dedicated to advancing excellence in surgical education, training, and patient care, supporting a global community of more than 33,000 healthcare professionals across 140 countries.

The FRCS is one of the most respected qualifications in surgery and represents consultant-level competence in the United Kingdom. It is regarded as the pinnacle of higher surgical training and is awarded only after successfully completing a rigorous assessment process, including an intensive written examination followed by a demanding two-day viva examination conducted by the Joint Committee on Intercollegiate Examinations.

I am proud to have successfully passed this prestigious examination on my first attempt, earning admission as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. This achievement reflects years of dedicated training, continuous learning, and an unwavering commitment to delivering the highest standards of vascular surgical care.

None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support, encouragement, and sacrifices of my wife and family, as well as the goodwill, prayers, and encouragement of my mentors, colleagues, friends, and well-wishers. I remain deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey.
